Intentional and vigorous movement has always been part of my life; Growing up I was a dancer, a gymnast and a cheerleader before discovering yoga.

In high school I was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder, and after many years of dealing with joint and muscle pain I decided it was time to slow down and focus on using yoga to heal my body.  I started practicing Bikrim but it wasn’t until I discovered Vinyasa Yoga that I became hooked. The mindful flow of fluid yoga made me feel alive! It liberated my joint pain, I was sleeping like a baby and it eased my anxiety.

I needed to learn more about the practice that was transforming my life on and off the mat. So, in 2015 I completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance RYT Certification with Kevan Gale at Stil Studio and fell in love with teaching. My classes are all about slow movement, proper alignment and body awareness. You will leave feeling energized, empowered, and with a calm state of mind.

I truly believe that yoga is for every body. You don’t have to be flexible, you don’t need to have good balance, and you certainly don’t have to be a certain size. Your practice is your own, let it transform you.
